Sportsmanship Games

The CIF Central Coast Section, at its May 2013 Board of Managers meeting, approved the opportunity for member schools to participate in Sportsmanship Games for both boys and girls volleyball and basketball. This was an effort to raise money for their school and the CCS Sportsmanship and Scholarship programs. The Sportsmanship Games provide an opportunity for teams from CCS member schools to match up against each other in a game that does not count against their maximum number of contests and will not be used for their overall record or season summary for entry or seeding into the CCS Championships.
  • Sports participating: Girls & Boys Volleyball and Girls & Boys Basketball.
  • Both participating schools must be CCS member schools.
  • Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $3 for Seniors, Students, and children over 6 years old. CIF and CCS passes (only) will be honored.
  • Gate receipts will be split 50/50 between the host school and the CCS.
  • CCS monies will be used for CCS Sportsmanship and Scholarship programs.
  • This game is completely voluntary by schools, typically a 2-year contract.
